About Termdeposit.com.au

Who are we?

TermDeposit.com.au is owned and operated by FIIG Securities Limited (ABN 68 085 661 632), which is a licensed securities dealer (AFSL No 224659) regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC). TermDeposit.com.au is not owned by, or aligned to, any financial organisation. We are guided by the needs of the client in terms of risk and return.

Why we make your job easier.

On 12 October 2008, the Federal Government announced it would guarantee all deposits with Approved Deposit Institutions (ADIs). Over 160 ADI's now have an equivalent AAA credit rating (the same as the Australian Federal Government) for the next three years. The only point of difference is the interest rate on offer.

TermDeposit.com.au is designed to help you find the best term deposit rates in Australia. Each day we update the site to give you the very latest information from up to 50 banks and financial institutions, and that list is growing.

TermDeposit.com.au does not charge you any fees. The rate you see on the site is the rate you will receive on your investment. We act as a broker and receive a small commission for the introduction of your business.

TermDeposit.com.au has over 20 staff speaking to ADIs daily, collating the information and presenting it in an easy to read format. We do the research for you. TermDeposit.com.au will also offer special rates that you won't find anywhere else.

Is TermDeposit.com.au safe and reliable?

At TermDeposit.com.au we arrange transactions for investors. We do not handle money, it is sent direct to the financial institution. TermDeposit.com.au's role is to identify the best rate over the required term, to suit the investor and liaise between them and the ADI. We provide all the applications forms and we help the investor complete them. We give instructions on how to transfer the funds and we ensure, as best possible, a seamless process. We have a trained and experienced Operations Department and an independent, specialised research team. TermDeposit.com.au will keep investors informed of news regarding ADIs and their regulatory environment.

What does it cost?

TermDeposit.com.au does not charge any fees. We act as a broker to the financial institutions and receive a small commission for the introduction of your business. The rate you see on the website is the rate you receive.

About FIIG Securities

Who is FIIG Securities Limited?

FIIG Securities Limited ("FIIG") is a public unlisted company, and licensed dealer in fixed income financial products, regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC).

FIIG was established in 1999 and has offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. FIIG specialises solely in fixed income financial products, including at-call accounts, term deposits, bank bills, debentures, floating rate notes, corporate bonds, government bonds, hybrid securities and managed investment products.

Services offered by FIIG

FIIG is licensed by ASIC to provide dealing and execution services, and general financial product advice, for fixed income financial products. FIIG provides its clients with direct access to wholesale money markets and fixed income investments. FIIG buys and sells interest rate securities of all descriptions. Prior to dealing with FIIG you should read FIIG's Financial Services Guide.

Why invest in fixed income investments?

The majority of investors are familiar with the major asset classes, namely equities, property and fixed income. Fixed income (or interest rate investments) is commonly regarded as the most conservative of these asset classes, yet it is the asset class that investors generally know the least about. Consequently investors are unaware of the many and varied investments available to them. With interest rates at current levels it is important to obtain the best available return.

FIIG provides its clients with direct access to these interest rate markets that have traditionally been the territory of the institution or fund manager. We are committed to providing investors with the best achievable returns given their individually specified parameters.
